For Christen’s day look, she wore her Marian bodysuit as a top paired with her black tailored shorts, black oxford shoes, black hat, and chambray over-sized polo as a cover-up! We just love how she made the delicate bodysuit look man-ish in her casual day look! Such a perfect outfit for a backyard picnic!

NIGHT LOOK

When nighttime came, Christen took away her denim cover-up and changed her shorts in to a classic black tutu skirt! Then slip-on her silver sexy heels, tie-up her hair in a bun, wore her stylish earrings and clutch and off she looks so elegant and sexy! Don’t you just adore how her waist really looked so slim with the bodysuit on? We can’t deny this look is such a perfect one for a romantic dinner at the banquet! Oh so lovely!!!

This week, we will discuss quick tips as to what bra goes best beneath a jersey top! Because if there’s VPL there’s VBL or visible bra lines too! Here’s how you can resolve it…

A jersey fabric top tends to show the lines of undies you are wearing underneath. The fabric clings to the body plus comes thin too compared to other fabrics! So in this battle, the smooth bra wins!

A SMOOTH BRA has smooth or no textured fabrics on the bra cups. It is mostly made up of a smooth spandex or satin fabric that covers the cups and the linings too! This is the best bra to wear underneath a jersey top or dress to avoid showing-off unpleasant bra lines that may ruin your look.

A TEXTURED BRA on the other hand is more likely to look appealing than the smooth one but will make you look appear odd if you wear it under your jersey top. It is made up of a delicate lace fabric covering the cups and the linings too, which make it visible underneath a jersey top. Shapewear As Mother’s Day Gift?YES or No?

Few days from now, we’re celebrating the day of Moms! It’s a special day to give some quality time with the best woman in your life! And of course, the day won’t be complete without surprising her a fantastice gift! Of all the available material things that you can pick for your mom, aside from the usual hugs and kisses and I-love-you’s shapewear is part of the choices too!

But is it really fine to give your mom a shapewear? Truth be told, not all find shapewear, or underwear for that matter, a very interesting Mother’s day gift. There are some who finds it a nice gift! For some it may be awkward or inappropriate.

Giving lingerie as a gift to a woman even not for your mom, may be awkward at some point or may mean other things UNLESS you give her the RIGHT PIECE! Lingerie as a gift to any occassion, is okay to give just as long as you know who to give it for, why you want to give it to her, and what style best suits her.

Therefore, shapewear is a good gift to give your mom. Just learn to pick the pieces with good tastes. If you plan to gift your mom a shapewear or a lingerie, keep in mind a few things:

1. Her personality. Be sure you know your mom so well to decide on which style of shapewear she will most probably like. Consider her favorite colors too!

2. Consider her age. Pick styles that are suited for her age. If she’s on her early 40′s pick shapewear that loooks a bit mature but still looks pretty. Too stylish or skimpy pieces may turn her off.

3. Always pick the elegant and classic pieces. Your mom is one-of-a-kind, and you don’t want to give her less so always look for a shapewear that looks classic and special. Never give her shapewear that looks tacky.

4. Form and Function. Consider too, the nature of work or activities of your mom. If she goes to office everyday, pick shapewear that she can use daily under her work attires. If she stays at home, perhaps a comfy shapewear will do for her. If she loves dressing-up and fashion is her game you might want to give her a stylish piece she can wear for special occasions. Understanding these things will help you decide which piece to give her.
