QUICK TIP: Sheer Sophisticate

If there's one thing we will never get tired off, it is our love to give you our quick styling tips!!! We all know how a little detail can affect the entire look of the outfit. Today's tip is to how to look sophisticated even in a sheer clothing. Take inspiration from Katharine McPhee, who was able to look elegant and sophisticated in her sheer lace top. We all know how anything sheer can reveal what's inside of it. And no matter we want to avoid it, if we don't know how to deal with it, you will end up looking trashy. so here's our quick tip:

1. Choose a smart pattern for a sheer clothing. never pick a top or a dress with 100% or too much sheer panels on it. look for pieces with some peek-a-boo details so you won't reveal too much skin.

2. Be sure to wear the proper undergarment. Atl east try to match the color of your sheer outfit to camouflage your undie and not totally reveal it. Say on Katharine's case, she may be wearing a sheer laced paneled dress, but yet her nude bra is just blending on her skin tone, and on the color of her dress, thus making the entire look, presentable, and classy!

3. Be sure to pick a bra or an undie that gives proper support and coverage to avoid wardrobe malfunctions.

How was your weekend ladies? Bet you were up all day and night tuning in on what's hot and what's not on the recently concluded Emmy's! And just like you are, we put are radars on, to keep our eyes, nose and ears on the latest, and the hottest! 

Of course aside from the main awarding event, we are all (for sure) up to seeing celebrities sizzle in their own designer dresses and suits! One thing we noticed, are the celebrities' DEEP V neckline trend! everyone seemed to be donning their cleavages, and we captured 6 ladies who carried the trend with taste and elegance!

The trick in wearing a deep V neckline is to make sure to balance it all with the total look of the dress. Be sure to keep the girlies all covered and secured no matter how deep the neckline is. Remember, too much cleavage showing is a big no-no!!! Make sure to wear the right bra underneath!

The Right Way Of Dressing-Up

We've been seeing a lot of posts, advertisements, photos, supporting the "thin is in" campaign or girls taking it so hard to do crash diet and intense body workouts. We aren't against any of them, but it's just that we find it too much if the only reason behind is because most girls these days,  would want to fit in a smaller dress. Because some girls believe that they look better thinner, in any clothes they would wear.

 While contemplating this issue, we saw this famous quote of Givenchy which we feel suitable on the matter. The right way of dressing-up is to let the dress fit your body, and not your body fit on the dress.

On the photos above Scarlett is letting her dress wrap around her body. To hug her curves and flatter her on all angles. Whereas with Beyonce, we find her dress too small on her, thus squeezing in her body to a dress size that's not hers. The curves may be showing off, but the ill-fitting of the dress is much more over powering.

The right way of dressing-up is to always get the right size of clothes for your body. Never mind getting XL, or XXL size of clothing. If that's the right size for you then it will definitely look good on you. Just because a smaller size dress says XS or size 0, it doesn't automatically mean you will look good in it, or once you wear it, you'll be called sexy. And that goes too when you get a bigger size of dress that says XL, or XXL, it doesn't mean you're fat or you will not look good in it. 

The best way in dressing-up is to love your body first, know the pieces that will flatter your shape, get the right size, and sprinkle your outfit with confidence!

so you'll know what clothing pieces to match with it. for casual day, it's best to be worn toned-down with either a long skirt or shorts or jeans and cover it up with a light cardigan.

for a night look, you could wear it sexy heels, or bare it all under a tailored blazer.

- make everything classy

keep it sexy but elegant and balance everything off. a bodysuit might look over-the-top if you style it with super sexy pieces. it is best worn with high-waist pants, or maxi skirts for a more elegant look. 

-always have the perfect fit

make sure to buy a bodysuit that fits you right. Remember, if you want to wear it as an outerwear, make sure it offers the best coverage and fit to make it look like a top.
