Few days from now, we’re celebrating the day of Moms! It’s a special day to give some quality time with the best woman in your life! And of course, the day won’t be complete without surprising her a fantastice gift! Of all the available material things  that you can pick for your mom, aside from the usual hugs and kisses and I-love-you’s shapewear is part of the choices too!

But is it really fine to give your mom a shapewear? Truth be told, not all find shapewear, or underwear for  that matter, a very interesting Mother’s day gift. There are some who finds it a nice gift! For some it may be awkward or inappropriate.

1.  Her personality. Be sure you know your mom so well to decide on which style of shapewear she will most probably like. Consider her favorite colors too!

2. Consider her age. Pick styles that are suited for her age. If she’s on her early 40′s pick shapewear that loooks a bit mature but still looks pretty. Too stylish or skimpy pieces may turn her off.

3. Always pick the elegant and classic pieces. Your mom is one-of-a-kind, and you don’t want to give her less so always look for a shapewear that looks classic and special. Never give her shapewear that looks tacky.

4. Form and Function. Consider too, the nature of work or activities of your mom. If she goes to office everyday, pick shapewear that she can use daily under her work attires. If she stays at home, perhaps a comfy shapewear will do for her. If she loves dressing-up and fashion is her game you might want to give her a stylish piece she can wear for special occasions. Understanding these things will help you decide which piece to give her.
